Nick Heath's work is an exploration of the boundaries between architecture and art, and a pursuit of the continuing tradition of simplicity in design from both a visual and philosophical point of view.' Nick Heath started his design career working with Terence Conran at Habitat Designs in London - the ground breaking proponent of modern design aesthetic - that changed the way interiors looked in the United Kingdom for the next 30 years. From the outset his work focused on ways of approaching fundamental problems of space, proportion, light and materials, rather than developing a set of stylistic mannerisms - his design ethos examines the notion of simplicity in art, architecture and design across a variety of historical and cultural contexts. Starting his own design practice in London early commissions included several apartments and offices. More recently he has concentrated on private residencies in the UK and USA. One of his residential designs, in Fulham/London, was listed as one of the 'Best Buildings In The City' as part of London's Open House. His work has been featured internationally in The Times, The Daily Telegraph, Elle Decor China, Elle Decor Greece, Channel 4 Television, ITV, BBC Television and numerous architectural journals. Alongside his architectural design he continues to work in the entertainment industry as a film producer for Birdland Film and a music consultant for Heath Media.
