NICRI is an independent consumer organisation established in 1989 to provide older investors with information about investment products. Over the years we have taken on areas such as equity release products, superannuation and redundancy issues, in addition to the broad range of investment and general information. NICRI works closely with the FIS area of Centrelink and with retiree organisations across Australia in presenting seminars on a wide range of topics that interest consumers facing retirement or those that have already retired and are trying to make the most of their retirement savings. We publish a wide range of leaflets and booklets and provide a nation wide telephone service to speak directly to consumers who have concerns about their finances.
