Nigerian Ropes PLC was incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria in March 1960, as an associate member of Bridon Plc, a world leader in the manufacturing of ropes and cordage technology. Nigerian Ropes PLC manufactures a wide range of fibre and steel ropes, webbing and rope slings, cargo nets, gangway nets, jack up ladder, vehicle tow ropes and ratchet lashings etc. and supplies associated fittings and lifting equipment. All products manufactured at Nigerian Ropes, adhere to both national and international standards, and maintain positive quality assurance and control practices. Since her formation, the company has been providing a wide range of products and services to the oil & gas, mining, fishing, construction and shipping industries. Nigerian Ropes PLC is in co-operation with other certified local manufacturers constantly reviewing local raw material development, in line with the federal government’s reform programme in promoting indigenous range of products. Nigerian Ropes Plc is the only ropes manufacturer in Africa and a quoted company on the Nigerian stock exchange, The company has two functional production outlets which are located in Lagos and Port Harcourt, while Warri is a Branch office. We are certified by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and Lloyd’s Register EMEA.
