Nima Goos Goos

Nima Goos Goos was conceived by four enterprising women of Ladakh with the idea of sharing the distinct indigenous herbs and crops that are staples to the Himalayan food culture. Ladakh is a mountainous region with sparse vegetation but the high altitude flora that grows in the harshest condition is potent with high nutritional value. The journey started with introducing few selected products of finest tisanes like stinging nettle buckwheat and barley. Through this initiative the aim is to awaken the community to the nutritional and economic value of local herbs and agriculture and along with it empower the farmers and foragers we work with.
