Nimble designed manufactured and sold consumer direct high-performance sporting goods from 1997 to 2008. Its products won every important cycling and triathlon related race spanning: European cycling tour stages, The Race Across America, the Olympics, single day professional road cycling championships, to the triathlon professional world championships and the Hawaii Ironman. Production was based in Austin Texas and ended with a fire in 2008. Company innovation spanned: high-performance composite materials, production equipment, aerodynamic design, consumer-direct channel, precision production milestones, strength/weight milestones, stiffness/weight milestones, drag reduction milestones, interchangeability and interoperability milestones.
