Nexus Institute for Research and Innovation (NIRI) is an independent and not for profit sharing institute registered in Nepal. It aims, not only to conduct cutting-edge research that is primarily relevant to Nepal but also to promote collaborative research among NIRI members as well as with national and international organizations to strengthen research in Nepal. It brings and facilitates different research programs and workshops while cooperating for evidence-based policymaking. It plays a pivotal role in the field of multi-disciplinary research utilizing the resources available. Established in 2020, NIRI is a team of interdisciplinary experts who have the highest academic achievements, mostly doctoral degrees, and also have garnered national and international experiences. The founding members of NIRI have a wide range of academic disciplines that travel across the field of natural sciences to applied sciences to social sciences. NIRI’s ambitious goal is to produce outstanding research to cater the needs of people in various fields of research for social development, to identify a niche of research in various fields, to create a network among research communities across the world, develop funded research projects, give births to many young researchers, and many more.
