This includes loadable families and templates that meet different levels of detail (LOD) and levels of information (LOI), ensuring flexibility and precision in digital design. Advising on Best Practices: Offering guidelines and best practices tailored for SME BPMs, which can help them efficiently create, maintain, and deploy digital twins of their products using BIM. This aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g, ISO 19650, Uniclass 2015). Integration with BIM Library Providers (BLPs): Assisting BPMs in hosting their BIM families on third-party platforms like BIMstore, helping them navigate the commercial, technical, and marketing aspects of these partnerships. This includes strategies for standardization, quality assurance, and mitigating the risk of industry consolidation. Training and Skill Development: Providing training in Revit family creation, parametric modelling, and software workflows for BPMs. This may cover Autodesk Revit tools and understanding object-oriented principles to build robust digital models. Market Expansion through BIM: Advising on innovative marketing strategies using digital twins and BIM objects, including interactive and augmented reality applications to showcase products, improve customer engagement, and enhance market reach. Advocating for SME Accessibility in BIM: Focusing on democratizing access to digital twin creation tools and resources for BPMs, especially smaller companies, to ensure they can compete fairly with larger entities without being constrained by BLP monopolies
