Niume is an online platform that is disrupting the way content is created and distributed online through a new form of interaction called Collaborative Blogging. Blogging, and most other forms of content creation, have traditionally always been a solo activity. In the current environment, content creators manage their own pages, and as a result, need to invest a lot of time and effort to develop an audience for their content. In a similar way, businesses have difficulties creating high-quality, engaging content about their brands and lack the channels to distribute it efficiently to a targeted audience. Niume transforms the experience of content creation and distribution into a collaborative process. Content creators who share a passion work together for one large audience through collaborative blogs called Spheres, which cover all types of interests. Niume offers content creators access to highly sophisticated and user friendly content creation tools, which enable them to develop beautiful and elaborate posts with ease. Moreover, by posting on Spheres, creators automatically reach large audiences who are already interested in what is being posted, and therefore more likely to share and engage with their content. Niume was launched in July 2014 as an open platform after several months of user testing, and has now more than contributors and a monthly readership of close to growing at over 20% per month.
