Nmb Capital

NMB Capital Limited (NMBCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NMB Bank Limited, established as an independent merchant and investment banking arm of the Bank. NMBCL is licensed Securities Business Person, licensed by Securities Board of Nepal under Company’s Act and Securities Act. The merchant banking function was an epitome specialization of NMB Bank for more than a decade before NMBCL’s establishment. It was spin-off from the Bank as regulatory requirements for continuing the business, starting formal operations from September 17, 2010 as an independent entity. NMB as a group has managed more than 300 public issues and holds the prestige on its hat of managing major public issues of the country. NMBCL helps in raising capital through all forms of public offerings, helps underwriting of public offers, works as a transfer agent and depository for all kinds of marketable securities and is a licensed depository participant. NMBCL is also the fund manager for the mutual funds sponsored by NMB Bank. There are two closed ended fund scheme under management and are listed at the local bourse (Nepal Stock Exchange).
