About Netarhat: Netarhat Vidyalaya, established on November 15, 1954, is a prestigious public residential school located in Jharkhand, India. Founded by Frederick Gordon Pearce under a Bihar government initiative, the school was designed to provide high-quality education that transcended social and economic divides under gurukul system. Pearce's vision, emphasizing character-building, leadership, and holistic development, continues to shape the institution's ethos. The school's mission blends traditional values with modern education, nurturing students to become capable, ethical individuals who contribute to society's progress. About NOBA: The Netarhat Old Boys' Association (NOBA) is an alumni organization of the prestigious Netarhat Residential School. Established with a strong sense of camaraderie and loyalty to their alma mater, the association serves as a platform for former students to reconnect, collaborate, and contribute to society through various initiatives. The school itself has a legacy of producing talented individuals who have excelled in diverse fields, from civil services to science, technology, and social work. NOBA is organized into several regional chapters, such as NOBA DELHI, NOBA PATNA, NOBA RANCHI etc. which focuses on to stay connected with alumni and organizes various get-together and help to each other. About NOBA GSR : Netarhat's alumni have come together to form NOBA GSR (Netarhat Old Boys' Association Global Social Responsibility), that embodies the values learned at Netarhat by giving back to society through impactful initiatives. Guided by the motto "Attadeepa Viharath," meaning "be your own light,". It's registered in USA (501(c)) and in India (80(G)) both location. NOBA GSR operates through five key chapters: Kisan, Vasudha, Education, Nirog & Sewa. Through these chapters, NOBA GSR continues to work towards meaningful societal change, reflecting the collective efforts and values of Netarhat alumni. Key Project : Sangini.
