We are two husband and wife teams. Army - Jered & Carly DaCosta // Navy - Josh & Kassandra Kristoff. Our past lives were spent on Wall Street, as leaders at Silicon Valley startups and FAANG companies. It wasn't until our families (7 kids total!) met in San Francisco that we became great friends and started planning the business we'd all build together one day. 2019 - Jered & Carly left California and strategically selected Jax, FL to test their hypothesis of short-term rentals. It worked. They started syndicating more deals. The birth of Nomad Hospitality property management company. 2020 - Josh & Kass left California for Jax, they also followed the syndication blueprint as a side-hustle. 2021 - The first fund was raised ($7MM cap, 95%+ subscribed). Roughly 25 properties in the portfolio. Construction & Design company born. Josh & Kass quit W-2 jobs to partner with Jered & Carly. 2022 - First fund operations nearly stabilized. Deal-flow and opportunities abound: Tip of the Spear I Fund launched ($5MM cap, 50% subscribed). We're expanding to make bigger things happen. We are a vertically integrated group of businesses: Real Estate Brokerage, Real Estate Investing, Construction & Design, Property Management. Our vision is to continue to invest in the Jax, FL market alongside other hyper-effective development groups. Our unique skills: We have complementary skills and there is wide breadth and depth across the team. Financial modeling, operational excellence, analytics, design, branding, and communications.
