Nomad Innovation Lab

Nomad Innovation Lab (NomadiLab) was founded in 2017 to create conditions for an economic opportunity for Somali people. We use digital inclusion to strengthen communities and institutions to recover from conflict and poverty. Our passion is solely to create systems and environments where the lives of many can be impacted, where individuals may find empowerment and transformation can occur through hope, technology, innovation, training and economic opportunities. Since inception of NomadiLab early this year, we have impacted thousands of lives through platforms we have created. One of our platform have been nominated to 2017 Momentum For Change of UN’s Climate Change Secretariat award and Somali International Award for 2018. We have been invited as keynote speaker in various conferences including a international GIS conference at Yale University.
