With extensive experience in business operations and cruise management across Asia, their mission is to develop an innovative and profitable business model that promotes slow discovery travel and regenerative cruise tourism, benefiting local coastal communities. Nomad Plastic is a regenerative enterprise dedicated to tackling plastic pollution and supporting biodiversity regeneration Nomad Archipelago, the first Nomad Plastic venture offers intimate, small-group, and private snorkeling-focused cruises, emphasizing slow travel and meaningful connections with nature and local cultures. Their wooden vessels are operating entirely on solar energy and equipped with a water maker providing unlimited clean drinking water. Committed to sustainability, these cruises are completely free of single-use plastics. 100% of Nomad Archipelago's proceeds are reinvested into MPAs co-managed by Blue Alliance. Additionally, in collaboration with Plastic Odyssey Factories, Nomad Plastic founded Nomad Nol Plastik, an Indonesian non-profit dedicated to engaging local communities through education and waste collection programs to combat plastic pollution. By working directly with coastal communities, Nomad Nol Plastik builds decentralized systems that empower local people to collect, convert, and benefit from plastic waste that would otherwise pollute their environment. These systems are designed to be adaptable and locally managed, ensuring long-term sustainability and community ownership. Nomad Plastic also offers consultancy services, assisting others in setting up similar waste management systems through feasibility studies, technical support, and impact monitoring.
