Nomomente is a diverse team of academics, students, writers, visual storytellers, ecologists, journalists, scientists, community leaders and more. We challenge curious readers to engage in diverse social, historical, cultural and scientific topics, and to reconsider what they think they know about the world and our place in it. Transformative Storytelling We believe in transformative storytelling: we explore narratives about people, places and nature through a creative and critical lens, aiming to simplify and amplify what are often complex topics, to inspire a broader public. Our team researches and tells our own stories and we also actively seek out new collaborators – especially those from vulnerable communities – with stories to tell, in their own voice. We feel particularly inspired by and indebted to Indigenous peoples and traditional communities who have unwaveringly enriched our world. Their stories of resilience are especially important to share. Join Our Research Network! We also want to be a hub for like-minded researchers, academics, students, thinkers and creatives to connect, share and collaborate with each other. Through our extensive Research Network, we produce research for academic, policy or legal purposes on topics ranging from education, food and ecology, to business, personal growth and more, and we encourage and fund research projects that have regeneration as a goal.
