Non Violence Licensing AB The Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVP) is a non-profit organization, promoting social change through education. The Foundation is financed through donations, collaborations and art & licensing revenues. NVP’s symbol, The Knotted Gun, represents an universal idea of peace and non-violence. The sculpture The Knotted Gun was created as a memorial tribute to John Lennon in 1980 by the Swedish artist Carl-Fredrik Reuterswärd and is placed outside the UN Headquarters in New York City among thirty other places. NVP’s mission is to inspire, motivate and engage young people to understand how to solve conflicts peacefully and has educated over 8 million students on five continents up till today. Non-Violence Licensing works to raise money and awareness to the Non-Violence Project Foundation through global licensing of one of the worlds most famous peace symbols. By collaborating with world known brands, ambassadors and retailers, NVL supports the mission to educate more youths in the world on how to solve conflicts peacefully.
