ARCSA-NorCal has four key objectives to further the adoption of rainwater catchement as a common practice in California: 1. Education Sharing information, both internally within the NorCal ARCSA chapter (resources, products, contractors) and externally (building capacity, promoting the practice & raising awareness with the public). Influence policy at the state level Work both independently and in collaboration with existing agencies/organizations for policy implementation that promotes rainwater catchment. Code adoption at city & county levels Develop strategies that facilitate rainwater code adoption by counties and cities. Facilitate Implementation Offer web site/on-line forum, formal training in rainwater catchment practices through internships, workshops, annual conference, blog, design series.
