After deep reflection of being in the earthwork industry for over 30 years we have seen a significant demand for customer insight and transparency. Over the years there have been many small to midsize earthwork companies come and go so customers don't always have a team to consult on fair pricing and project scope. Oftentimes, project management firms will focus on the building construction, collect 2-3 bids on the excavation work, then select the company with the lowest price. This does not always lead to the best solution for the customer. On mid to large sized projects, it is standard to assume the contingency expenses for earthwork will be from 35-50% due to unknown underground issues. Repeatedly, we see earthwork can by far have the largest cost increase and Work Orders, ultimately delaying or canceling the project until further financial investment is acquired. We built this company to provide consulting, cost estimating, project evaluation, contract review & negotiations and, in worst case scenarios, dispute avoidance & resolution. After several positive outcomes we determined our focus and services would be invaluable to the customers we work with. Our team offers hourly review, monthly review and/or per project, along with pre-project consulting and estimating. Our company continues to perform earthwork by our resolute staff and heavy equipment on most private sector work, light industrial work, and we have a strong emphasis on Civil work for sport fields - e.g. baseball/softball/track.
