Nordic Marina

Nordic Marina is a part of NordBio, a three year program initiated through the Icelandic chairmanship of the Nordic Council of Ministers. Nordic Marina is a network dealing with fuels and related emissions in shipping, fisheries and other maritime activities. The role of Marina is to bring together stakeholders, public or private, to join forces and facilitate the introduction of renewable fuels for ships and other green marine applications. Short term goals include kick starting projects while for the long term, we focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ships and vessels and expanding the use of environmentally friendly fuels in the marine industry.
