Norships’ facilities and infrastructure includes a shipyard in Cairns and industrial marine workshop facilities in Darwin with offsite service teams deployed for service requirements across the Australian coastline and the Pacific Region. Head office is situated in Cairns with over 54,500 sqm. of industrial workshop and marine infrastructure available for out of water maintenance refits, repairs and overhauls. Marine maintenance capabilities include: 4 travel lifts with capacities from 40 - 400 tonnes, fully enclosed blast and paint facilities, fully serviced hardstand, fully equipped workshops and experienced staff able to cater up to 600 vessel refit and maintenance activities each year. Norship offer a full spectrum of Shipyard and ‘Through Life Asset Management Services’ including concept design, prototyping, construction, and maintenance support through to docking, emergent repairs, complete refits, and disposals.
