OUR GOAL To promote patient safety and care by improving the health and well-being of healthcare professionals by offering support for physicians, physician assistants, and students. OUR MISSION To facilitate the rehabilitation of healthcare providers who have physical or mental health conditions that could compromise public safety and to monitor their recovery. OUR PROCESS Screenings and Referrals: Assess health care professional's mental health and refer them to appropriate resources. Consultation and Guidance: Assist friends, families, and colleagues in how to best care for the health care professional. Support: Build on the healthy functioning capacity of health care professionals. Accountability: Continually monitor compliance with advised treatment and behavioral health plans. Advocate: Educate healthcare professionals, employers, regulators, administrative agencies, service providers, and the public throughout the state. Learn more about the resources available to you at
