Northern Mining Analytical Laboratory

Northern Mining Analytical Laboratory (NMAL) is a new Laboratory in heart of gold mining city “Timmins” founded by C. Amjad Ghumman (PhD) with the help of NOHFC business startup grant of $200K. Dr. Ghumman has specialization in analytical methodologies and instrumentation with more than 20 publications in international journals in this area and has direct workplace experience in analytical Laboratories. The co-founder Miss Lubna has Master of Science degree along with experience in laboratory quality assurance and management. NMAL is initially providing gold and silver analysis by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry and Gravimetric Analysis to mining companies in Timmins and surrounding area. Sample preparation department consists of heavy duty crushers and pulverizers, assay department consists of high throughput furnaces with multi-load and multi-pour systems, the wet lab is containing Atomic Absorption Spectrometers with autosampler, and these features are set up as to minimize human factor and safe laboratory environment. Quality Control and safety are our first priority. In every single step data automation is involved to generate quality results for our precious clients.
