Northface Solar is a commercial solar EPC and battery energy storage (BESS) specialist delivering engineered energy systems for developers, asset owners, and operating businesses across the Western Cape. Founded in 2011, Northface Solar focuses on turnkey EPC delivery; from feasibility, load analysis, and system design through to approvals, commissioning, and long-term operability. Our work is centred on risk removal, business continuity, compliance, and predictable performance, rather than short-term savings or equipment-led solutions. We treat commercial solar as infrastructure, not a product. This means conservative assumptions, verified load data, disciplined engineering, and systems designed to perform reliably under real operating conditions, including grid instability and load shedding. Our scope includes commercial solar PV, integrated BESS, continuity and resilience strategies, diesel reduction, municipal approvals and SSEG registration, and Pr. Eng sign-off where required. Projects are delivered with clear documentation, accountability, and handover clarity. Northface Solar works closely with developers, CFOs, business owners, and facilities teams, often simultaneously, to ensure systems perform technically, operationally, financially, and compliantly over the long term.
