Northpoint is a combine of aviation professionals offering research and consultancy services to the aviation industry and associated stakeholders. The company has two Directors, twelve Associates, and seven support roles. The company regularly works with other consultancies and organisations, including a number of academic institutions, as required by the specifics of individual project briefs. Northpoint has at the heart of its ‘modus operandi’, working to cultivate links with and between academia, airports, air operators, public bodies and regulators. The company is often concerned with putting together business cases for infrastructure investments, economic impact studies, and route and revenue development programmes. Northpoint has emerged as a specialist boutique consultancy with niche expertise. Notably- Extensive experience of airports related policy work, including lobbying and influencing policy positions, and up to date knowledge of Airport development and investment in the UK and beyond- A long-standing interest in regional airports and their employment clusters, regional development, peripheral region transport & aviation- Expert Support contracts which include secretariat and research functions for several industry related bodies such as Strategic Aviation Special Interest Group (SASIG), UK Regional and Business Airports (RABA) Group, Smart Peripheral and Remote Airports 2020 (SPARA2020), the All Party Parliamentary Group on Regional Airports and previously the National Connectivity Taskforce (NCTF)- Framework Agreement (with other partners) on both Transport Scotland's and the Welsh Government's aviation panels.
