Northwest Illinois Economic Development

NW Illinois Economic Development is an independent, private, nonprofit 501c(6) corporation formed to develop regional public/private partnerships to promote and encourage economic development in Jo Daviess, Carroll and Whiteside counties in Northwest Illinois. By combining the strengths of our businesses, counties, communities and organizations, we compete globally for business expansion opportunities, and attract and retain businesses to improve the quality of life for our residents. NWIL Economic Development promotes economic development by serving as business ambassadors- We assist expanding and relocating businesses in determining their needs for growth and with cooperation of our government and business partners- We encourage entrepreneurs by assisting with access to resources to begin and grow their businesses- We employ all available resources to create a welcoming business environment, aligning the skills of our workforce with the needs of businesses and building the economic capital required to grow our communities' quality of life.
