Not Just Crew

Although ‘Not Just Crew’ didn’t set out with the intention of becoming a major support hub for cabin crew dealing with the effect of a collapsing aviation industry, we seem to have evolved that way. We have now become the ‘go to place’ for crew from over 75 different nations, and 78 global airlines, with an average of 2k interactions daily on our social media. Our live shows are also converted to podcasts for iTunes, Spotify and other platforms, which reaches a 24h globally engaged audience as part of the role of cabin crew. What started out as a forty minute ‘Zoom live’ speaking to thirty seven worried crew about the future of the aviation industry now consists of two weekly live shows and a Facebook membership 10k+, a growing YouTube Channel, and now aiming for a No.1 Podcast on iTunes. In less than a year, current cabin crew member Simon Costello and current cabin crew manager Trevor Jenkins have helped over seven hundred crew, not only to change careers (in many cases within the NHS), but also to start their own companies. This is due in no small part to our weekly programmes, which give advice and interview former crew members who already have already taken the leap themselves. The team at NJC are also the major partners in ‘The Crew Market’, a growing online shopping experience which showcases the entrepreneurial skills, and creative talents of crew. Not Just Crew have also worked along side IATA (International Air Transport Association) to design a formal qualification for cabin crew that will not only help crew transition to a new career, but will also enable them to re-enter a flying career at a later date. Our goal is to continue to help crew in a professional capacity. We are constantly evolving, and have come to the conclusion that there is no better opportunity than to build up Not Just Crew and become ‘THE’ main hub for cabin crew worldwide, and to be the ‘go to place’ for the media seeking material on aviation & crew related issues.
