Not Just Studies

Not Just Studies ( NJS ) started as a thought to strengthen the Indian education system. The parents, the teachers and we, the society at large, have created an ambience where we judge our children only on one parameter, studies. This has led to major stress in children as young as 8 years! This has to change. If knowledge is power then learning has to be enjoyable! The idea is to enable children in school to identify and foster their innate talent beyond academics and also make them look forward to attending school. In 2015, NJS was given its own formal entity to ensure that the underlying mission is carried forward and outlives its founding team and remain valuable for everyone connected to it or touched by it. At NJS, we have a structured and methodical training in Physical Education & Sports, and Performing & Visual Arts that will be delivered inside of school-hours without interfering with the normal schedule for academics. The delivery of training is oriented to our well-researched and suited to 'Indian-education system' curriculum. The training will start from Kindergarten to Grade 12 through our progressive curriculum. The company has also planned to organize inter-school, state and national level competitions in each of the disciplines to provide a significant platform for children to perform and excel in the areas of their interest. NJS will also provide career-counselling and guidance to children in Senior Secondary to enter the top professional-training institutes across the world in disciplines of their interest, hence helping them to pursue their passions as their vocations and hence "love what they do and do what they love"! NJS also has an online portal where children, parents, school-management, trainers and subject-experts across India connect. It also has features for online assessments, performance-tracking, regular profiling of children based on up-gradation of their skills and integrated social learning forums.
