Nottingham Buddhist Centre

A community of Buddhist practitioners in Nottingham, supporting the well-being and development of all beings in order to relieve suffering. At the NBC we are deeply inspired by the vision of Enlightenment and we aspire to discover ever more fully what it means to be a Bodhisattva here and now. We aim to be grounded in and growing out of the realities of life in Nottingham; inclusive and reflective of its diversity, responsive and relevant to this time of crisis, and always rooted in the Buddha’s teaching as presented by Bhante Sangharakshita. As we grow through our shared practice towards the Three Jewels, we undertake to uphold an ever opening space of community and friendship which perfumes the city and permeates the interconnected world beyond, for the benefit of all beings.
