For us, Dr. Kamran Tavakkoli and my brother Dr. Kambiz Tavakkoli, dentistry is more than a career choice or a profession. As part of our continuous improvement program, we pursue continuing education for ourselves and our staff. As part of our ongoing training, our team continues to receive extensive training in anxiety management, pain control, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry. We are proud of the reputation we’ve built in the community having been recognized as among America’s Top Dentists for Cosmetic and General Dentistry by the Consumer Research Council of America from 2009 to 2016. We also volunteer and provide community outreach for Mission of Mercy (MOM) projects that are conducted in underserved areas of Virginia where there are not enough dental practitioners to address the oral health needs of the community adequately.
