Novadock

Novadock provides on behalf of its parent company all logistic services on the heavy lift terminal at Vlaardingen on site and along its own quayside. As the nature and scope of these services is different to the regular trading and rental processes from Van Adrighem group, a separate entity has been established for these Terminal services. The facility is the culmination of years of work and is located right in the heart of Rotterdam’s busy shipping district at the Delta Harbour at Vlaardingen. Prior to NovaDock occupying the site, it played host to a Unilever factory. Upon acquiring the ground, the van Adrighem family demolished the buildings that occupied the site and undertook the task of strengthening the foundations so that it could withstand heavyweight units, and built a quay for ships. Alongside this, to enable NovaDock to manage the logistical support for a leading maritime provider, a distribution centre has also been built on the terminal
