NovaFund Advisors is an independent placement firm focused on delivering capital raising and advisory services. Established in 2004, NovaFund Advisors and its five principals provide advisory and placement services to financial sponsors. NovaFund principals have backgrounds as co-founders or senior professionals from some of the street’s earliest institutional placement groups including Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Deutsche Bank and bring other important experience from Wilshire Associates, Strategic Value Partners, Ericsson Venture Partners and ML Capital Partners. As a result, the firm’s professionals have extensive capabilities, having assisted with over 130 discrete assignments dating to 1989. These mandates have ranged from large established sponsor groups to emerging first-time fund managers, across geographies and fund type, including leveraged buyout, growth and venture capital, distressed debt, mezzanine, fund of funds and other special situations. NovaFund is relationship driven, providing access to leading institutional investors in North America, Europe and Asia including: public and corporate pensions, foundations and endowments, advisors, fund of funds managers, insurance companies and financial institutions.
