Het beroep compressie-therapeut houdt in dat je aan patiënten met afvoerproblemen van bloed en/of lymfe, compressiematerialen, zoals therapeutisch elastische kousen en klittenbandzwachtels, mag aanmeten, leveren en contracten kunt aangaan met zorgverzekeraars. Je werkt zelfstandig en ook samen met andere zorgprofessionals om tot de best mogelijke zorg te komen voor patiënten die medische indicaties hebben waarbij compressietherapie noodzakelijk is.
