Np Foods

The beginnings of NP Foods are to be found back in 1870, when vigorous manufacturer Teodors Rigerts established the first chocolate factory in Riga and named it after him. In the course of years this factory has grown into legendary JSC Laima that today is the one of the largest manufacturers in the Baltic states. In 1994 JSC Gutta started its activities, and now has become one of the leading producers of juices, juice drinks and drinking waters in the Baltics. At the end of 2008, a decision was made to establish a new management and development company NP Foods, with the aim to further strengthen JSC Laima and Gutta positions in the Baltic market as well as to reduce duplicating daily functions. There will be concentrated all previous business management and administrative functions of both enterprises in the Baltics
