Nps Crew Endurance Team

Operational performance depends on crew endurance – the ability to maintain effective performance while enduring job-related challenges. Since 2001, the Crew Endurance Team at the Naval Postgraduate School has conducted research into factors affecting the health, performance, and readiness of the warfighter, setting new standards for safety and effectiveness. Our research is focused on: • Service member well-being, performance, and health • Habitability • Optimizing human performance through modeling and simulation • Test and evaluation of devices to assess human behavior • Education and training on the importance of the human element in system performance That is not all, though. Multiple ships and shore-based facilities every year contact our team with concerns related to human performance. Our research is tailored to the needs of the communities who request our assistance.
