NRB Consulting Engineers, is a fully Irish-owned, Irish-based independent business. The principals in the firm together have over 50 years experience in a wide variety of traffic, transport, traffic impact, roads design & Civil Engineering projects. Though we have excellent experience in other broad-engineering fields, our niche specialism is in transport planning, traffic engineering, traffic impact assessments, transportation assessments, road safety audits and other road & associated infrastructure design consultancy services. We take pride in working in close partnership with clients, and their design teams, in order to achieve their ambitions in the most economically advantageous way. We have a commercial awareness and an understanding of the implications of our decisions and designs - traits that can often be missing, particularly when dealing with larger multi-disciplinary firms. With NRB, clients get senior level input & attendance for the duration of the projects, ordinarily at Project Director level whereby we deliver traffic impact assessments, transporation assessments both on time and on budget. We provide expert no-nonsense accurate advice from the start of projects with strategic planned solutions, in order to assist in minimising development delays and to maximise the commercial returns of any scheme. NRB Consulting Engineers work on major private industrial, commercial, leisure, retail and residential development schemes. We also provide advice on strategic planning, traffic, infrastructure design and transportation matters to local government and public bodies. From feasibility and planning through to the design and implementation stages, NRB contributes to large multi-disciplinary teams or acts independently as specialist transport advisors. The company’s Irish base and Irish staff means that clients benefit from specialised local knowledge of regulations and close working relationships with Local Authority personnel.
