In February 2015, PHOENIX acquired a license to set up a Dispensing Appliance Contract (DAC) under the brand, NuCare. As such, NuCare is a wholly owned subsidiary of the PHOENIX Group, operating in all channels in the medical device and appliance market. NuCare works in close partnership with pharmacies, GPs and nurses to support patients with a complete range of incontinence, ostomy and wound care services and products. Our working model offers both the agency and direct to patient model. As an independent contractor we are able to offer advanced services in line with the Community Pharmacy Contract framework. We are confident that our advice offered in advanced services such as Appliance Service Reviews and Stoma Appliance Customisation is both expert and unbiased and will help achieve and maintain patient safety and compliance.
