Number 11 Burslem

The Number 11 centre is a lifeline for individuals in our community struggling with a variety of issues, from difficulties with debt and benefits through to isolation, unemployment, bereavement, or mental illness. We know it’s not just programmes and services which change lives, it’s relationship. People don’t always fit into boxes, so we take a person-centred approach, looking at the whole picture. Number 11 is a family, so in addition to our workshops or one-to-one support we eat together, play games and laugh together. We believe in not just putting plasters over the problems, instead getting deeper into the underlying causes of issues to help our clients see sustainable change, moving from a place where they are stuck to a place of full independence.
