Numill is an agent and wholesaler of bulk timber and fiber cement. Numill procures hardwood, softwood and fiber cement products locally and internationally. We wholesale these products throughout South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Numill sources only the highest quality timber and strives to provide customers with unrivaled service. Numill was established in 1989 by Pierre Venter and was primarily a sole buyer and seller of South African pine. The business has kept growing at a steady pace, expanding into hardwoods products, throughout South Africa and into value-added timber products, like decking and plywood, as well as fiber cement which was first introduced to customers towards the end of 2017. The business is still owned and managed by Pierre Venter and still maintains an entrepreneurial and open attitude, where customer service and great quality is of paramount importance. Numill has its head office in Broadlands, Strand situated on 19 Prima Drive, an office in Boksburg, Gauteng and another in Mobeni, Durban, each located alongside their own warehouse. Twenty seven employees in Cape Town, Gauteng and Durban offices are available to assist customers and deliveries take place daily all over the surrounding areas. Numill's warehouses have space for thousands of cubic metres of timber, ensuring availability of the variety that customers require in species, grade and dimension of timber. Numill believes that sustainable forestry is the best strategy for its business and encourages customers, suppliers and partners to pursue environmentally sustainable practices. Numill endeavours to use suppliers who comply with all environmental legislation in their country of origin, and will continue to engage in practices that promote responsible and sustainable forestry.
