Nutek was established in 1994 to produce punched sheet metal components for the local computer and automotive industry. Nutek entered the retail equipment sector producing high quality sheet metal components for the leading retail equipment suppliers. In early the company management structure and focus was altered and the company very quickly found opportunities to supply quality stainless steel products and exterior metal products direct to the retail and architectural industries. Innovative and cost effective product designs were offered and quickly established Nutek as a leading UK supplier of covered trolley parks. Complimentary product development followed, leading to the portfolio of products now offered. Nutek’s success was such that in 2002 it expanded to move to new larger manufacturing premises and a major investment in capital equipment was undertaken to improve production capabilities and capacity to meet demands. The group was further expanded in 2003 with the acquisition of MHD Consultants to expand and improve service facility to the aiport sector where major projects have been completed successfuly. Nutek’s business philosophy is simple TRADITIONAL the quality of materials and workmanship must not be compromised. INNOVATIVE improve and design the product that will reduce not only prime manufacturing costs but also site and installation costs. Working closely in partnership with the client, massive savings have been achieved in some cases giving effective solutions that have saved as much as 40% on the existing supply base. Nutek work closely with designers, architects, main contractors and local authorities to ensure the most economic solution is found, always working to current British and European standards and regulations.
