About Us: At Nutmeg Charity Inc, our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of children in the greater New Haven Area through sports and recreation. We support school athletic programs, city and town sports programs, after-school programs, and other non-profit organizations. We're passionate about helping young athletes with talent but limited financial resources. We identify these talented kids and provide them with the support they need to nurture and grow their skills. It's not just about physical health – sports also help kids develop important life skills like teamwork, perseverance, and self-esteem. How We Help: In recent years, we've proudly supported programs like the after-school exploratory programs at Benjamin Jepson Magnet School and Grandparents on the Move, which assist grandparents in raising their grandchildren on a fixed income.
