Nutu is a social business whose mission is to share the bounty of moringa, the world’s most nutritionally complete, environmentally sustainable plant protein, with people around the world. By sourcing from women-led cooperatives in West Africa, Nutu invigorates local economies, fights malnutrition, and counters deforestation, all while delivering a premium product to consumers in the U.S. and Canada. Nutu is rooted in the concept of interdependence— the interdependence of peoples, ecologies, and economies. It is our firm belief that the health of the one depends on the health of the many, and that the health of the many in turn depends on the health of the one. It is nutu’s mission to promote this cycle of health.
