NYAEMP exists to provide leadership, technical assistance and mentorship to Emerging and Multicultural providers of services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. NYAEMP aspires to serve as a liaison between government agencies and the provider community in supporting the start up and development of not-for-profit organizations whose intent is to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. NYAEMP's principle focus is to ensure the future of Emerging and Multicultural services providers by assisting these agencies with developing fiscal, administrative and technical infrastructures that will meet the regulatory and contractual requirements of Federal, State and local government funding and oversight agencies.
