Nigerian Youth Fashion and Empowerment Week (NYFEW) is a Youth-focused empowerment organization. NYFEW was established since 2016, birthed with a mission to educate, empower, expose, advance, and contribute to the growth of talent and intellectual abilities of skilled youths in Fashion value-chain in Nigeria. Our broader vision is to be the biggest empowerment organization in Africa with a focus on training, educating, equipping, supporting, and empowering youths from all backgrounds to facilitate their entrepreneurial success. NYFEW executes its purpose consistently so far with five (5) brilliantly executed empowerment projects across Nigeria. We help skilled youths, especially in fashion value-chain vocations to hone their vocational skills. Our programs are designed to educate young entrepreneurs on the methods, strategies, and intricacies of establishing businesses. We have a structure for all our programs, which include a series of training and workshops on business development, capital/funds management, branding and promotion, marketing, and social media/digital marketing. Our team in conjunction with partners in fashion, finance, media, and public sectors as well as other local businesses organizes these workshops, mentor participants, and guide them through the process of launching individual enterprises. NYFEW’s programs reward outstanding participants and groups of participants with essential materials and tools that are sufficient to help startup businesses in their respective fields on a sizeable, progressive scale.
