Nyungwe Marathon

As you can tell by now, Nyungwe is not like other marathons. We don't charge a registration fee. We don't have paid staff or bib numbers or timing chips. We deliberately keep things simple to focus on the running, the people, and the forest. These are what make this event special. This year we're trying to do more to support the great local businesses that surround Nyungwe Forest. We love it when Nyungwe Runners stay at local hotels, hire guides for canopy tours, and buy forest honey on their way back to Kigali. Thanks in advance for supporting the communities around Nyungwe.
