O Arkitekter

OARK is an architecture practice based in Sweden and in Portugal. It was founded in 2020 following the first prize in the Europan 15 competition, in Finland. The emphasis of its work lies on a thorough understanding of the local environment, natural elements, the region's culture and available resources. Its projects are deeply rooted in the particularities of each context. It has a multidisciplinary team has a consolidated history of working in a wide variety of topics and levels of involvement in different areas of architecture and urbanism, ranging from small-scale projects up to large-scale interventions.
