Oak Hill Classical School

Oak Hill is the only traditional 5-day classical school with a PreK-12th grade program in Gwinnett County. Our mission is to provide an education that cultivates wisdom, joyful learning, and love for God and others. At Oak Hill, we want to see children grow into young people who engage the world with wisdom, learn with joy, and act in love for God and others. Our classical and Christ-centered educational program, which we pursue in a covenantal relationship with students and their families, is a tool for cultivating these virtues. n order to fulfill our mission, Oak Hill provides families with an education that is both classical and Christian. It is classical in that it draws deeply on the rich heritage of Western civilization and culture; it is Christian in that it recognizes the Bible as the final authority in all matters of life and thought. Students are nurtured in the idea that the Christian faith is the integrating principle for all of life. Additionally, Oak Hill strives to function as a covenantal community in which students are respected as unique individuals created in the image of God, each with special gifts and needs. Gifts are from God (James 1:17) and given for the benefit of the body or community to the glory of God (Romans 12). They are taught by skilled and knowledgeable teachers who love children and are dedicated to helping them realize their highest potential – spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and creatively.
