Literacy is a logical conception in which early childhood care and education is essential, in October 2018 UNESCO estimated that 13.2 million children in Nigeria are out of school, indicating that children do not have access to basic education due to the low income or impoverishment resulting in a deprived future; which has hindered learning due to limited or no resources to make teaching and learning effective. This means that children are not able to meet minimum proficiency standards in reading, writing, logical thinking and assimilation, nor perform at the level their contemporaries are able to do, thereby creating a gap, an immense gap that is noticeable. We, You, US and I as humans need to make the difference that creates a nearly, if not completely-equal opportunity at accessing quality education for indigents as their counterparts in developed and developing countries are getting.
