Oakland Spiders

Community. Grit. Joy. Every play, every game. The Oakland Spiders mission is to entertain and inspire our community to live healthier, more connected lives through Ultimate Disc (Frisbee). The Spiders are a Professional Ultimate Disc (frisbee) team competing in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) Founded in San Jose, the Spiders won back-to-back championships in 2014 and 2015. After the 2020 season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Spiders were warmly welcomed by Oakland in 2021, and following a change in management, the team formally relocated to Oakland for the 2022 season. The Spiders are committed to growing the sport of Ultimate, while serving Oakland and the broader Bay Area community through volunteerism and partnerships with our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Spiders Community Web.
