Oaklight Counseling

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-harm, and addiction. I help teens (16+), adults, and couples reconnect with and draw strength from the goodness in themselves as they cultivate positive behaviors and new perspectives on life. I have trained in Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, DBT, CBT and Focusing oriented therapy. I am a certified mindfulness teacher with years of experience teaching mindfulness and meditation to children, adolescents, and adults. What I have found matters most is the relationship between therapist and client and our mutual capacity for awareness. I tailor my treatment programs to meet the needs of my clients. No matter the approach, providing a space where my clients feel safe and supported is at the heart of my practice, and I welcome people from a diversity of backgrounds.
