WELCOME to the Oasis’ LinkedIn company profile. Oasis Loss Modelling Framework was founded in 2012 to open up the world of Catastrophe Modelling. The aim was to build a vibrant community that would both broaden the supply of cat models and increase the user base. Oasis, a not-for-profit company, is owned by close to 30 of the world’s leading insurers, reinsurers and brokers and forms, together with an Associate Member community of over 100 companies and academic institutions, a broad community of organizations dedicated to improving catastrophe loss modeling. Only full Members pay membership fees. Associate Members do have full access to all software and documentation. Oasis LMF’s mission is to create and foster links throughout the wide community of those interested in modelling catastrophic risk across business, academia, and government.
