About Oatlands Ecology: Oatlands Ecology is a specialist ecological consultancy providing professional ecological advice and services to home owners, architects, property developers, contractors, and environmental consultancies. Based in West Yorkshire we specialise in bat and other protected species surveys, and carry out ecological assessments relating to a wide range of proposed developments and planning applications. Our ecology team is commercially aware and understand the importance of practical project requirements such as Critical Path delivery and Gateway deadlines particularly when European Protected Species (EPS) licences are involved (often referred to as “EPS Mitigation Licences” or “Development Licences”). Experience: Oatlands Ecology have years of experience managing the ecological component of many large infrastructure projects including city centre re-developments, mixed use development schemes, major trunk road and pipeline construction and many smaller projects such as building conversions and residential improvement schemes. We are highly competent, have a high level of technical expertise and offer a tried and tested ecological service to all our clients. Our ecologists hold the relevant Natural England protected species survey licences and are Chartered members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Managers (IEEM).
